For several years now Plant Chromosome Biology meetings bring together scientists and students passionate about plant genomes. The last meeting was held in 2023 in Brno (Czech Republic) and hosted by Dr. Roman Hobza from the Institute of Biophysics of the Czech Academy of Sciences. The next conference in 2025 will take place in the heart of Europe, in Vienna, Austria.

Exciting keynotes by invited speakers will set the stage for many more talks and poster presentations by conference participants in several topical sessions. We are confident that the meeting will offer new and exciting insights into the architecture, function and evolution of various plant genomes and chromosome types, addressing both theoretical and applied aspects. It will also provide an excellent opportunity for stimulating discussions and for forging new collaborations.

We are very much looking forward to meeting you in Vienna in September 2025!
